Sexual Assault Centre Kingston

Sexual Assault Centre Kingston is a not-for-profit organization providing free, confidential, non-judgemental support for all survivors, 12+, of recent and/or historic sexual violence in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (KFL&A) since 1978. Their vision is to create a community free of sexual violence.

 

 The SACK Mission:

To support individuals and their loved ones to heal from sexual violence and educate individuals and organizations on the impact of sexual violence.

Beyond the constant and ongoing support for community members, they also advocate for systemic and social change in order to allow for an end to sexual violence.


Guiding Values & Goals:

SACK understands the resiliency and bravery of survivors is that the center of their work and they are guided by the voices of survivors and act to honour all decisions that they make. They ground all of their work in a feminist, anti-racist and anti-oppressive framework, and are committed to recognizing and challenging the lack of accessible and appropriate services for survivors of sexual violence.

They seek to identify and remove any barriers to access their services and work closely with the community at all levels..
