Financial Information

A new budget, prepared by the Vice President (Operations) and approved by ASUS Assembly, is created for ASUS each year. Commissioners, Officers, and other portfolios all work with the Vice President to draft their final budgets. These budgets are then edited and consolidated over the summer, and approved by ASUS Assembly in the fall. The ASUS Advisory Board reviews the budgets before approval at Assembly and provides guidance and financial oversight.

Financial statements are provided by an external and independent accounting agency at the end of each fiscal year. These statements include operations, standing, and changes in fund balances. The ASUS Executive reviews the financial statements in conjunction with the General Manager and Accounting Director prior to their publishing here.
