Life After ArtSci: Alumni Networking Summit
Life After ArtSci is a professional development summit that encourages students to engage with Arts and Science alumni, learn about various career fields and sectors, and refine their skills to successfully transition from university to the workforce. In collaboration with the Arts & Science Undergraduate Society, the Faculty of Arts and Science and the Dean’s Advisory Council, Life After ArtSci aspires to challenge students to think of their future endeavours and see how their degree can propel their professional career. Attendees will hear from leaders in emerging industries and CEOs, all of whom graduated from Queen’s Arts and Science. From the medical cannabis industry to international consulting to philanthropy, Life After ArtSci will discuss careers in every sector. With a networking catered lunch and workshops facilitated by Career Services, students will have the tips and resources they need to propel their professional career. Throughout the day, Life After ArtSci will pose the question, “What can you do with an Arts and Science degree?” and attempt to prove any profession and pathway is possible!
This year, Life After ArtSci will be taking place twice to ensure that students have the chance to hear from a wide variety of sectors and alumni.
Mark your calendars as the Fall Life After ArtSci summit will be taking place on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018. Stay tuned for more information about ticket sales, panelists, and general event details!
